Wonder!!

Research suggests that people like their mirror image(the one they see on the glass called mirror) than their actual picture !

We love our mirror image while people like us for what we are!!!

A recipe for glass•sand or silica (SiO2)
•sodium carbonate (Na2CO3)
•limestone (CaCO3)
•magnesium carbonate (MgCO3)
•additives to improve the quality of the glass, and to colour the glass.
While it is still molten (a hot liquid), glass can be manipulated by glass blowers to form bottles and other decorative articles of different shapes. They blow air into the liquid glass through a long pipe.

While simple chemicals make up Glass it is amazing to see that from smart phones to fiber optic cables from TV/computer screens to your car/home windows they are everywhere!!

From Gorilla glass to bullet proof glass from Google glass to Pyrex these glasses come in different forms.

The secret for Glass has been guarded in the past and it is happening again now.

What is the big deal about glass now ? Once you watch the 2 youtube videos you will be pleasantly surprised.

While Egyptians knew how to make glass and nature gave us glass as Obsidian  stones near the volcanoes we are far far away from the potential uses for glass.
